Since I seriously doubt anyone will actually read this, I can practically say anything I please. But I still enjoy being entertaining, both for myself and in the off chance someone does stumble across this random post and decides to skim through it.
Greetings, internet! =P I've had another rather normal day (ugh, Wednesday. No offense to the day personally, but I always seem to end up with the annoying schedule of lessons on a Wednesday. Aaaalwaaaays.) The highlights would be "copsinder" (spelling error on an English sheet), finally understanding about half of what was happening in my maths class (yet I'm getting a merit for maths this year; go figure), and having a poking/pen battle with Teah in my tutorial this afternoon. So not that bad, really.
Assignments await me tomorrow. Groan. BUT I have Music Night (Friday evening) to look forward to, along with Hanna's rockin' Halloween LAN-amajig on Saturday and the blast off of '09 NaNoWriMo on Sunday!
And there's FTV filming and Presentation Night and stuff happening next week, but meh, I'll be writing =P That's the important part.
Well, I've enjoyed venting a little here, so hopefully if anyone is reading this, they enjoyed it too. Adios, amigos.
Randomly yours,
Emma

NaNo, Halloween, Grah
So, what's a reader like you doing in a blog like this?
I've missed the blogging world. It's better than a diary but has a similar feeling of relief accompanying a post that writing a diary entry does. I enjoy knowing my occasional witticisms may actually be read by someone else in the world rather than just my diary (it laughs at me. It doesn't know I know, but it does).
Halloween's coming up and I've been flooding dA inboxes with Halloween chibis, plus there might be a surprising Halloween comic coming up... keep your eyes on your inboxes on Friday/Saturday for that one.
That also means that it's almost NaNoWriMo time again (for those of you who aren't familiar with this peculiar annual writer's ritual, visit http://www.nanowrimo.org ), and I plan to participate in the lunacy like I have since '07. Look out for comedic snippets from it on my DeviantArt and possibly here (if I keep up this blogging... we'll see) from my '09 NaNo novel: The Desultory Daring Exploits of Purple the Sassy (copyright =P So keep ya mitts off it)
Have a spooky Halloween and a great November, folks.
Randomly yours,

Gasp, She Has Returned!
Yeah, I've returned to my poor, abandoned little blog. It's been too long since I updated last, but I kind of lost interest after few people read it (which may have had something to do with the extreme lack of interesting news which my blog entries provide).
I did tech work for the Year 10 Informal today, which basically took around 9 hours of my life. But hey, it was pretty fun, and my tech friends are so random and awesome XD It was a fun mix of hair plaiting, falling disco balls and faces drawn on plastic cups. Tech is made of win.

Screnzy, a Yup Yup
It's that time of year again! Script Frenzy starts tomorrow (also known as Screnzy)! (April 1; how many hours until it begins depends on your time zone, but for me it is officially 3 and a half hours away, not that I plan to be awake when it "officially" ticks over to April 1 =P)
Plus, I performed my English speech yesterday (got to dress up in a long skirt, long sleeve shirt, apron and bonnet and pretend to be Abigail Williams from The Crucible in front of my English class; fuuuun *sarcasm*) and I did alright, and my Drama performance today (ordinary clothes, yay! Angela from the play Wolf Lullaby - kudos to anyone who knows it)
Maths B KAPS exam on Friday D: Not looking forward to it.
Thanks to anyone who read all that randomness XD How are you guys?
And again; waited too long to post, therefore no pictures this week either :(

Not Tuesday, But Still an Update!
Yeah, I forgot to update on Tuesday XD I was studying... and I forgot. Nevermind! Since there's very little for me to say anyway.
Like RPGs? Love awesome super-powers? Check out The Wrong Kind of Show!
Um, other than that... peace out! XD
When will the rambling end?

TBE, Library Jobs and Bubble Tea
As always, time to break the title down XD
TBE - a.k.a. Avatar: The Last Airbender The Burning Earth for XBOX360. I'm most of the way through the game now (started playing yesterday afternoon :)) and it is both fun and messed up so far XD There are some weird things that are in the game and are definitely NOT in the show, including some changes in the order of events and such. But 'tis still fun :D
Library Jobs - I got an application form from my local library today and I'm going to apply for a job ^.^ Fingers crossed!
Bubble Tea - It is one of the weirdest drinks I've ever heard of and tasted XD My friend got some today on the way to our usual study at the library and offered me some, and it was extremely odd. Green tea mixed with chocolate flavouring and mixed with little bits of jelly (you get to choose which flavour tea/flavouring you get). It was weird, but you have to try it just to say you know what it's like =P
Well, all is currently well in the Land of Emma, apart from the fact that we're going to receive a Maths revision sheet tomorrow meaning our test is soon, plus my English assignment is a speech for which I have to dress up as a woman from 1693 (or thereabouts) and perform a monologue. Not only that, but I have to write the monologue, memorise it, get my costume together and perform it all in TWO WEEKS. Plus my Drama performance is due on the same day XD So yeah, I'm managing :) No pictures this week, because I'm lazy.
Never gonna stop babbling,

Wow..... Boringness
For once I have very little to report! XD
Since I'm trying to keep up with my 'posting every Tuesday' plan, I still needed to post something today, so this is it =P
If anyone reading this is into digital colouring or drawing lineart, there's the awesome Colour Me Club on DeviantArt, which is holding a lineart competition at the moment (the colouring portion starts after the lineart submissions are in and a winner has been decided)
That's all for now!

Library Studying and Chocolate Powder Stuff
I walked to the city library with my friends after school today and did some homework :D 'Twas fun. One of my friends went away and came back with a coffee cup which she had gotten from the coffee machine. She's sprinkled the chocolate-y powder stuff you put on cappucinos and some sugar; both of which are free from beside the machine (you only have to pay if you actually use the machine and get coffee) =P I had some and it was niiiiiiice XD
Today was a surprisingly awesome day. Not overly exciting or anything, but happy and fun :) Reading through a play and learning some naturalism elements in Drama, using laptops and doing reasearch on car collisions in Physics, writing some more of my film review of 'Strangers on a Train' in FTV and a quiz on Palaeolithic and Neolithic times in Ancient History =P Might sound boring to you guys, but it was fun for me :D
Sorry no pictures this time XD *is lazy*

[insert creative title]
No random title containing words related to my life this week XD
I'm actually happy to say that life is going quite well for me at the moment :) No major worries. I had what I thought was a bucketload of Maths homework, but it's done now and I feel better =P

Happy Shrove Tuesday to anyone who might "celebrate" it, so to speak, and to those who don't; happy random Tuesday XD
I'm going to take this as an opportunity to advertise Script Frenzy which is happening this April; the goal is to write 100 pages of any kind of script within the time restraint of April 1 - April 30. It was fun last year and I'm sure it will be just as awesome this year :D
Apologies for blogging about very little; I'm just trying to be good and keep up to my goal of blogging here weekly :D
The rambling just keeps going,

IMDb, Diagnostics and Book Reviews
Alright, time for another update :D I shall break down the title once more.
IMDb - I spent an entire hour doing basically nothing in Film and Television today while my friends surfed IMDb randomly due to having already finished the worksheet (which had been set yesterday, and we had a relief teacher today who didn't know any other work to give us).
Diagnostics - I have a Maths B diagnostic test tomorrow (5 questions, apparently) which I'm not particularly looking forward to (Maths is currently the ONE subject I'm not enjoying D:)

Book Reviews - I'm reviewing the book 'Love You Two' by Maria Pallotta-Chiarolli for the local newspaper, and apparently I get to keep the book afterward :D Since I haven't written any book reviews before, I'm having a bit of difficulty XD
So not much more interesting happening with me, what's up with you guys? :)
The rambling continues,

Haircuts and Archaeology
Alright, not much has been happening that is interesting (to anyone except me, I suppose), so I'll try to be brief.
My Muse hasn't been too bad with the hit-and-runs with her Inspiration Mallet recently; I've been doing the odd sketch without too many giant ideas nor long periods without drawing, so that's good I guess. Also:
Sorceror turns three soon!!! :D After a little digging and searching, I've decided that Sorceror's official birthday is going to be April 16 (long story =P But from what little information I have to go by, I'm pretty sure it was around that date). I'm looking forward to drawing a big birthday picture for him (and the gang). If you don't know my comic (or the main character) 'Sorceror', see here)

I've also been studying archaeology in Ancient History and I got a haircut yesterday (hence the name). Randomly enough, I realised that the two aren't so unrelated after all (both are done in layers; think about it). So yeah XD
May all of you be bashed silly by your Muse with his/her Inspiration Mallet (or equivalent) - in a good way, of course.

[Hopefully] Weekly Spaz

Alright, there's no point having a blog unless I use it, so I hope to post at least weekly. There's no point having an active blog if no one reads it, so I hope to make it interesting. Starting... NOW! =P
Since things are always more interesting with an illustrated accompaniment, here's my good friend Chibi Emma (she's a chibi version of myself; we're very close) to act out everything I talk about in my blog posts from now on. Hopefully she will help me to communicate whatever it is I am trying to say as well as being a thousand times more interesting than whatever words I can come up with to tell you.
SO, what is happening with me right now? Well, school has started and hit me hard (as mentioned in my previous post) I have been having a comic-writer's-block and been randomly sketching my new characters like crazy (therefore my Muse must still be nearby... I think she enjoys popping in at random times, bashing me in the head with her Inspiration Mallet before running off again, not giving me time to grab her and give her a piece of my mind, cheeky thing)

Writing wise, my sketchy Muse has been hiding quite a bit.
So, please stay tuned for weekly updates from my random life! XD

Elvin Archers and Physics Tutorials
Lots of random stuff is going on with me at the moment XD I've created four new characters which I plan on writing a story about (which may be played out in a series of comics rather than an actual novel) set in a Dungeons and Dragons-esque world (one of them is an elvin archer; did you guess? =P)
I started school last Wednesday, and it was scary, exciting and intense. It seems that I know at least one or two people in each of my classes (phew) and all of my teachers seem nice (although my Chemistry teacher scared me just a little; she made it sound as though Chemistry is going to be really hard, and pretty much told us that all of the people in our class are going to be fighting against each other for the next two years over who gets the top level in Chemistry o.O I hope she is friendlier and more light-hearted than she seemed, just because it was our first lesson for the year).
At my school, Thursdays are very different. Some people opt for home study (a.k.a. sleeping in and doing whatever! But remember to lie and tell everyone you studied ;) ) and others go to school for tutorials so they can do their homework and ask teachers for help etc. I went to physics tutorial the Thursday just passed, and I was the only person who turned up XD My friend had chemistry tutorial down on her timetable, but it was filled with grade 12s and she hadn't even had a chem lesson yet, so she came to physics with me :) From now on, I think I'll be going to Maths B tutorial in the morning, and then swapping between physics and chemistry afterward - depending on what work I have to do - and then leaving at noon. :)
Hopefully I didn't bore you too much with all of that XD

Honoouuurrrr!!!!

I just finished playing Avatar: Into the Inferno for the Wii, and it was fun XD It takes about a day and a half to finish (give or take, depending on whether you're a gaming whiz, or whether - like me - you struggle with even the most simple puzzles and take five minutes to work out how to move to the next stage).
As Adam pointed out while I was battling Ozai in the finale part of the game; it's kind of strange how acrobatic your enemies always are =P I understand how it's possible when you're against Ty Lee, but Ozai flinging around in the air to land on the other side of the arena? I don't think so =P It would make sense if he used a bit more firebending to jet himself over... but whatever XD
Also, while I was playing as Aang in the gliding game (in the Ember Island section), I died quite a few times XD I HAVE SUCCEEDED WHERE OZAI FAILED! XD Also, I pointed out to Adam; every time Aang dies, he should respawn as the next nation in the cycle XD
Sorry to anyone reading this who isn't an Avatar fan or doesn't know about the show. Just ignore this post if that applies to you XD
Avid Avatar fan,

Confusion, Logos and a Brand New Blog

Hey all! First post ever, so intros are called for, I suppose. I'm Emma, I like chibi, have one whacky older brother and some of you may know me as IslandWriter from my DeviantArt page. Why would such a random person start a blog? I feel like rambling, that's why =P
So, what's up with the first half of the title, you may ask?
The logo part is obviously in relation to the banner up top, plus the chibi flying pig to the right. The confusion part is about some stuff that's going on right now with my brother and which university he's going to. School starts in three weeks; I don't need this drama! The Destiny Cat totally grabbed my brother's plans for the future, chewed them up and spit them out >.< That's right, I said Destiny Cat =P That's the kind of thing you need to expect from further blog entries from me if you decide to keep checking my blog.
I hope you decide to return and read more of my whacky ramblings
~Emma
